The Day in Review
This segment is still here... for now... but give us some positive feedback if you really want it to be kept.
Injury News
- Joba had to leave Monday's game with a stiff shoulder. Rotoworld is guessing DL. I didn't watch the game, but I'm wondering if shoulder stiffness is just an excuse for pitching poorly.
- Eric Chavez had season-ending surgery on his shoulder. Fantasy spin: you really shouldn't have owned him anyway.
Notable Performances
- Raul Ibanez (still a Mariner) knocked in six, winning himself the Xavier Nady of the Night award. Nady, by the way, has three homers and ten RBI since joining NY (8 games).
If you really do use this feature, let us know - otherwise, we're kind of ready to put our focus into the editorials and non-summary material. That's what you need to know about the day.

I really enjoy this segment, and to be honest would probably move this feed from my "Must Read" folder to my "If I Have Time" folder if you do away with it.
Thanks for your hard work on it!
As I noted earlier I do enjoy it as well. I'm not a big box score scanner these days with 2 kids, I focus on my team and my "scout team" online rather than looking at all the boxes. What might be more valuable to me esp with trading deadlines passing us by would be more information on the bubble type of guys. Tell me how Billy Butler did vice Sori and Teix.
Both this segment and the strategic spot starts are very useful (and a good reason to check the blog regularly).
Thanks!
i love all your segments, and agree with chuck completely
I'm a big fan of the day in review. It is a nice place where I can go to keep a finger on the pulse of everything around the league. I wouldn't stop reading without it, but I'd be less excited.
Thank you guys for all the comments. It's really helpful to get feedback and knowing the tool is useful makes the midnight boxscore perusing less of a pain. Honestly, Pete and I are pretty addicted to baseball statistics anyway, so the perusing was always there but the posting wasn't. We will keep up the with the Day in Review's, hopefully bringing a friend of ours on board in the meantime.
