Do You Have What It Takes?

You walk into the office, sit down, and hesitantly turn on your computer. Felix Hernandez had a late game last night, his last start of the season. Your palms begin to sweat. How did Hernandez pitch? Did he earn the W? The tension is palpable. Too nervous to look at the final line, you begin to look through the game log. 1st inning: 1 K, 0 ER; 2nd inning: 2 Ks, 0 ER; 3rd inning: 0 Ks, 0 ER...condensation begins to form on your forehead. You wipe your brow and look towards the final line. There were 16 teams, then there were 8, and finally there were two. But, as the final line appears on your screen, you realize...only one team can be crowned champion.

The MLB Front Office Dynasty Challenge is a grueling competition consisting of 16 teams divided into two conferences (AL & NL), and 4 divisions.  The National League consists of some of the best experts in the business.  The American League contains some of the most diehard fantasy players on the internet.  Each franchise's task is to develop their franchise into a dynasty.  The owners do this through smart drafting, tactical trades, timely waiver additions, and frugal budget management.  A team with firepower in the majors may have immediate success, but a team who utilizes their minor league system and maximizes their budget will have sustained success.  The objective is simple: outmaneuver your opponent and be the last one standing come October.

The participants in the MLB Front Office Dynasty Challenge understand that baseball is a year round sport.  The off-season is when championship teams are built.  Will you have the guts to pull the trigger at the winter meetings, or will you let other teams pass you by and find yourself selling come the trade deadline?  One thing is for sure, you are in for a rollercoaster ride.  The MLB Front Office Dynasty Challenge is the most realistic fantasy baseball league on the internet.

For those who succeed, glory awaits.  Do you have what it takes?
